my recent stay at a hotel in Playa del Carmen was good overall. The location was perfect, close to the action, and the room was basic but clean and comfortable. The staff, especially Elizabeth, were friendly and helpful. The AC worked well and I had a good night's sleep.

One thing that was missing during my stay was hot water. The shower was only lukewarm, which was tolerable considering the climate but not the best.

The location was great, right in the heart of the action. It was easy to explore and experience the vibrant atmosphere of the area. Another plus was the friendly and helpful staff, they were always willing to assist with any requests or concerns. Plus, the price for such a central location was fantastic.

The noise levels in the area were quite unbearable. It felt like trying to sleep on a dancefloor, especially during the Christmas season.

The staff quickly changed our room upon request, ensuring our comfort and safety. Despite the noise from being right in the heart of the action, it's a small price to pay for the vibrant atmosphere and endless entertainment options of the city. Free Wi-Fi, luggage storage, 24-hour reception and security, flat-screen TV, VIP check-in/out. The staff, especially Elizabeth, made our stay exceptional.

We stayed at Casa Barka for a few days for a little getaway. The staff, especially the receptionist, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even changed our room because we wanted a balcony door that could lock. The location was perfect, right on 5th Avenue, surrounded by action. Yes, it was noisy, but who goes to bed early in Playa del Carmen anyways? The room was clean, the AC worked perfectly, and the staff even lent me a phone charger since I didn't have an adapter. a great experience at a good price.
